okay so Ryan Greenheck is my pottery god. he's awesome! There is nothing sexier than a guy under forty who can do what he does with clay. I mean he demonstrated how to throw a mug cause getting height in the clay is proving difficult and he not only showed us the cylindrical shape, but then he rounded it out a couple of times to give it this bubble like effect. then he made more stuff using slip and making designs and wow. so yeah. it was cool. i didn't make as much stuff tonight because it was just fascinating watching him work. he demonstrated a bunch of stuff i could already do but he did it differently so it was like learning it from scratch all over again. Whee! He was very cool.
